Способность некоторых ресурсов использоваться обязательно в комплекте, в определенной (фиксированной) пропорции, причем эффективность их использования определяется «узким местом», т.е. количеством того ресурса, которое обеспечивает лишь наименьший объем производства (например, детали, из которых собираются готовые изделия, — взаимодополняемые, общий выпуск ограничивается той из них, которая поступила в наименьшем количестве). В теории производственных функций взаимодополняемые ресурсы характеризуются нулевым коэффициентом эластичности замещения (т.е. возможность замены ресурсов отсутствует). Изокванты производственных функций (ПФ) с В.р. (то же: ПФ с постоянными пропорциями) представляют собой лучи, исходящие из точек наиболее рационального сочетания этих ресурсов и параллельные осям координат (см. рис. И.4, к ст. Изокванта).
